  • Graduate courses developed and taught at LUMS
    • Retrosynthesis (Chem-534): The organic chemistry course for MS students that discusses various retrosynthetic approaches for the synthesis of the organic molecules.
    • Organic Spectroscopy (Chem-533, spring 2016): The course is designed to discuss application of various spectroscopic techniques including NMR, Mass, IR and UV in the structure elucidation of the organic compounds.
    • Organic Synthesis (Chem-734): The organic chemistry for PhD students aimed at introducing advanced ideas of organic synthesis to the students.
    • Chemistry seminar courses (Chem-502 and Chem-501): These courses are aimed at polishing graduate students in delivering research talks.
  • Undergraduate theory courses developed and taught at LUMS
    • Chemistry of organic functional groups (Chem-332): The second of the three organic chemistry courses that undergrads have to take in order to graduate as chemistry majors.
    • Advance organic chemistry (Chem-334): The last of the three organic chemistry courses that undergrads have to take in their senior year order to graduate as chemistry majors.
    • Introduction to drug discovery and development (Chem-352/Bio-352): An elective course designed for the chemistry and biology seniors/junior. The aim of this course was to give students a holistic approach of the process from identification of the biological target to selling the drug in the market.
    • Spectroscopy – Theory and Applications (Chem-333/Phy-333): The course introduced the juniors to various spectroscopic techniques including NMR, Mass, IR and UV.
  • Lab course developed and taught at LUMS
    • Organic Chemistry Lab II (Chem-430): The last of the two organic chemistry labs for chemistry majors.
